Welcome to the Starview Repair Service. We specialise in the repair of Chinese and Korean Starview Cable Receivers. After continued success of repairs for wholesale distributors, we have now launched starviewrepair.co.uk to bring the repair service direct to the consumer.
We collectively have over 25 years of experience in electronics repair and component level diagnostics. Our work is 100% clean and certified. We use UK certified components for repair and ensure your box is in working condition before dispatch. Unlike hobbyist repairers, we use specialist equipment to drill down to the source of the problem. Our experts turn around boxes in minutes.

BUTCHER WARNING
If you have purchased your box from ebay as "faulty or spares", do not be surprised if you cant get it to work. We do not fix man-made faults. We have come across boxes in which people have attempted repair and have completely ruined parts on the motherboard. You can ofcourse send us this box as part of the FREE DIAGNOSTIC service and we will attempt to repair. Please remember, we are engineers, not magicians, we cannot magically unburn a surface mount processor or unburn burnt solder points!
For the sake of a few quid, don't let amateurs ruin your receiver!!
CHIP INSTALLATION WARNING
When a chip does not have the correct information on it or all legs are not properly connected to the points, your box may function properly for up to 7-days after which the firmware will again erase the bootloader. Your box will have to be Jtagged again and the chip will have to be tested and mounted again. So beware of sellers offering chip installation. Our chips are fully tested before AND after installation to make sure the firmware has registered it correctly.

Its simple, you purchase from any of the 4 services offered above. Once your payment is received, you will receive a shipping code and address. You will need to package your box ONLY (please do not package remotes or extra plugs - we want just the receiver) and send it to us. You should send your receiver recorded delivery for your own peace of mind.
Remember to Clearly write your NAME, ADDRESS and CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBER and problem when sending your box to us.
Once we have received your box, we will diagnose/repair it and return it to you within 24 hours (working days only). For the free diagnostic service, we will email you or contact you via telephone to discuss the quotation.
